Enzo Amore

Current WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore has been suspended by WWE based on sexual assault allegations brought forth over an alleged incident back in 2017.

According to a report by Pro Wrestling Sheet, Amore (Eric Arndt) is being accused of raping a woman in a hotel room last October in Phoenix, Arizona.

The woman – who wishes to remain unnamed – went public with the story on Twitter on Monday, sharing a detailed account about her alleged incident with Amore last year.

A representative for the Phoenix Police Department confirmed a report was filed and that it remains under investigation. The “bulk of the investigation” is said to be complete and police are simply waiting on lab results at the moment.

WWE issued the following statement:

“WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving sexual harassment or sexual assault. Until this matter is resolved, Eric Arndt (aka Enzo Amore) has been suspended.”

Amore wrestled at both 205 Live events in Lowell and Poughkeepsie over the weekend.

The story by Pro Wrestling Sheet provides a graphic account of the alleged interaction the unidentified woman had with Amore, which you can read if you wish to at this link.

  1. WWE being total pussies again. Enzo is 100% innocent right now, because the investigation is not complete. Is he guilty of something? Its all allegations right now, so why are they jumping the gun & suspending him? For all we know, this is just some whore looking for attention and a bit of money.

  2. Suspension pending investigation is actually pretty common in the workplace, why should WWE be any different, especially with allegations of this nature?

  3. Sounds like someone wanted off the Zo Train. He was just showing her that he was the realist guy in the room. He likes to rape woman! And you can’t teach that.

  4. there’s only one word to describe you and i’m gonna spell it out for ya: F – I – R – E – D

  5. i was discussing this issue with my nephew earlier today and he was in agreement. Hate to say it but I think WWE refusing to allow someone to appear in this situation is warrented. Having Amore perform in front of a crowd could cause security concerns. Wouldnt be surprised if certain people tried jumping in the ring (and not in a staged WCW style work). It may not be fair but its the only safe decision to make.
