WWE.com reported earlier today that WWE Raw Superstar Jason Jordan under went neck surgery Tuesday morning.
It has been reported previously by PWInsider that Jordan had been suffering from either a neck or shoulder injury. The last few weeks Jordan has been held out of the ring to rest the injury.
WWE Medical Director Dr. Joseph Maroon said the following about the surgery.
“He had an injury to a disc in his neck which resulted in significant pain that was refractory to all conservative measures,” WWE Medical Director Dr. Joseph Maroon said. “It was decided to do a minimally invasive operation to decompress the nerve, to allow it to heal.”
It is currently unknown how long the surgery will keep Jordan out of action. This past Monday Night the WWE wrote Jordan off of TV. RAW General Manager Kurt Angle sent Jordan home to heal after Jordan cost Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns their match up against The Bar.
