Quick Match Results:

* Jinder Mahal def. Xavier Woods to advance to the finals of the US Title Tournament
* Bobby Roode def. Mojo Rawley to advance to the finals of the US Title Tournament
* The Riott Squad def. Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Naomi
* Bobby Roode def. Jinder Mahal to become the new WWE United States Champion

  • “Styles is going to refer to the duo as Kami going forward.” Oh sure, inflate the heel duo’s ego even more by calling them God. 😛

  • Adam Martin

Styles struggled a tad during that promo

  • I’m gonna give him the benefit of the doubt and assume it’s because he knows he was gonna need to say something stupid.

  • Akash Aditya

For his previous matches, Jinder looked more smooth and polished in today’s match against Bobby Roode. He is improving, honestly.

  • Carlos Javier Hernandez Paz

Kami does make me think of DBZ seriously though the writers suck sometimes

  • FordOLoads

Wow TNA originals AJ Styles and Bobby Roode are champions in WWE at the same time with major titles no less.

  • Paul Meade

I wish they had more than 4 guys wrestle on the show, has to be a record for a 2 hour show

  • daryl joe

True that. this roster is slim in singles players. Elias , Finn balor and many others from raw could do very good on the smackdown roster.

  • daryl joe

I don’t like this babyface act Bobby roode is trying. It would have been better if jinder won the championship. He could gloat in front of the audience how an Indian maharaja became the united states champion and remain a top heel.

  • Moonsaves

It’ll be to set up a feud for Ziggler’s return, as Mahal vs Ziggler wouldn’t work.

  • Jamie Stidiford

Why no singh brothers in the main event. I did notice one was being carried out of the ring after they attack Booby Roode.

  • unknown

Maybe with next week’s show in DC, Ziggler will return dressed as Donald Trump, saying he is taking back the US Title.

  • Al79

It sounds good, but they never let former TNA talent head into Wrestlemania with the titles. They rely on people like Orton and Cena….blah

  • daryl joe

Yeah, now that is something we all expect. Ziggler will remain heel and Bobby roode as face.. and possibly could get dropped soon. But jinder is something different I think. Specially him giving those comments about how Americans under-appreciate him and all. Personally I felt finder’s in ring skills as poor. But he can do solid matches like today and his match against aj styles in which he lost his title. If he won the US title and run some anti US dialogues, Bobby roode could go full offence badass and the crowd will be with him. Bobby roode’s current face run is somewhat stale.

I wouldn’t say never. Who knows this year it may change.
